God Rolls - Gjallarhorn Dominance, Master Cheeks, Halo Battle Royale
Evie also has a new job as guard dog
Alright, I’m back. Sorry I missed last week, but letttt me tell you, maintaining a perfect content release schedule with a newborn is nigh impossible. I promise I’m trying but would appreciate any slack you can cut me. The hardest things to do are film daily videos at the same pace, where writing is a little easier. But by last Sunday I was just dead so no newsletter. Will make it up to you this week.
What I’m Playing: Almost exclusively Wonderlands, but honestly not even very much of that. Still have not figured out how to play unpausable games well. I did like three Destiny Nightfalls to get a Duty Bound and that was it for the week.
What I’m Watching: TV, on the other hand, is very easy to keep watching. I just started Anatomy of an Affair on Netflix which is okay. I watched Outer Range on Amazon which is interesting enough, I suppose. Still going with Slow Horses and Tokyo Vice on Apple and HBO Max respectively. I think this was last week at this point, but the Severance finale was one of the best TV things of the year. The last few years? Yeah, watch it.
Now, the recap:
One ‘Destiny 2’ Weapon Is Dominating Usage Rates Across All Modes - It’s Gjallarhorn. Obviously it’s Gjallarhorn. But click to see just HOW dominant it is.
The Top 20 ‘Destiny 2’ PvE And PvP Weapons In The Witch Queen Era - This is where the current meta stands, if you’re wondering.
‘Destiny 2’ Needs Black Armory, Leviathan And Dawn Weapons Back With Origin Traits - My big plans for new (old) slates of weapons to return to the game.
‘Destiny 2’ Addresses Its Constantly Unbalanced PvP Matchmaking - Bungie is actually talking about why matchmaking feels so bad right now.
Paramount’s ‘Halo’ Show Is Not Going Great - One of my most popular and controversial posts of the week, I just cannot get behind this show so far.
Report: ‘Halo Infinite’ Might Be Getting That Battle Royale Mode After All - Evidence is mounting that Halo Infinite is getting a battle royale mode in the near future.
Cyberpunk 2077’s 2023 Expansion Is Likely Its First And Last - Cyberpunk announced its expansion will hit in 2023, and I really don’t think there’s going to be another one after that.
What Are The Odds PS5’s God Of War Ragnarok Makes It Out In 2022? - Having a lot of doubts that God of War is going to hit this already-delayed window.
Bungie has announced raid rotators, so here’s how that’s going to go:
My thoughts on how Sparrow Racing could actually work in Destiny 2 in the current era:
In which I lament that we no longer have puzzles or events like we used to in Destiny:
Alright, now we usually are going to have two special guests for this finale part, Noah and his guard dog Evie:
See you out there.
