God Rolls - Destiny Year 4, Witcher Returns, Cyberpunk Settles
Happy almost New Year, it can't get worse right
Welcome to the final God Rolls of 2021, a year we all thought would be better than 2020 and yet it somehow…wasn’t. But that’s real life, not movies and TV shows and video games, which were instead pretty great.
What I’m Playing: Mostly done grinding Destiny now that I’ve gotten the Void sword and most Anniversary rolls I care about. I need to catch up on Genshin one of these days. No major, major games I care about until Horizon now.
What I’m Watching: Lots. New season of The Witcher, which I thought was great, but some book fans hate it. Just finished The Silent Sea on Netflix which I thought was pretty great. Of course I’ve done Spider-Man and The Matrix by now, which were good and bad respectively. Going to do Don’t Look Up tonight.
Now, for the recap:
Destiny 2
Five ‘Destiny 2’ Nerfs That Went Too Far, And Need To Be Reverted - Sometimes you nerf things and go a little too hard. I want to see these scaled back.
The Case For 2021 Being Destiny 2’s Best Year To Date - I got some disagreement here, but I really do believe this.
The Best 'Destiny 2' Dawning Weapon And Gift Farm - Here’s the best way to farm Destiny 2’s Dawning before it goes away completely.
‘Destiny 2’ Needs More ‘Shiny’ Weapons Like The Other Half - Some thoughts on my void sword chase and why I’d like to see some more things like it, surprisingly.
Something Weird Is Up With ‘Destiny 2’ Blind Well Dreaming City Loot - It is now easier than ever to farm a bunch of Dreaming City guns with actual good rolls now.
Other Games
Genshin Impact 2.4: Free 4 Stars, New Double Banners, New Skins Revealed - Massive new update is coming to Genshin Impact in January, and it looks great.
No, Neither Xbox Nor PlayStation Is About To Leave The Other In The Dust - My current middleground take on the console war.
Ubisoft Quartz’s Ghost Recon NFTs Appear To Have Made Just $400 Total - Ubisoft’s NFTs are doing laughably terrible, which I think we can all celebrate.
CDPR’s ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ Investor Settlement Is Hilariously Tiny - CDPR settled its big lawsuit with investors and paid them practically nothing.

Remember Gambit? Because I’m not sure Bungie does:

A build I am very much enjoying this season after a few recent buffs:
True story: my dad got bit by a dog at our family Christmas party back in Michigan. Of course it wasn’t Evie! She would never…
That’s all I’ve got for now, see you in 2022 and I hope you had a great COVID-free-and-or-mild-COVID holiday!
Also general Outriders question: is anyone else getting kicked out of match-made games when playing as a Devastator? I thought we were past this, but apparently not. :P
Does anyone know when the Season of the Lost story is set to conclude? I imagine February 2022 some time. Just wondering if anyone could find a date.
