God Rolls - Destiny Glaives, Helmetless Halo, Wonderlands Lessons
Plus a new addition...
Welcome back to another installment of God Rolls, where I promise I’m not giving up the newsletter just because my available time has been cut in half now. Yes, I am a father! Noah Tassi was born just over a week ago, and he is extremely great. I am now learning how to be a dad while simultaneously trying to still work, and thankfully my wife is incredible, which helps a lot. It’s been a wild ride, but everything turned out great, and he’s a very cool little dude.
What I’m Playing: Since I really need something I can actively pause being on dad duty every ten minutes or so, I have been playing Wonderlands, going through a second playthrough on a new class combo. Have really not dipped into Destiny since we came home.
What I’m Watching: Lots of time to watch TV while infants are napping. Our Flag Means Death’s finale was incredible. Caught up on Servant and Severance. Keeping up with my Walking Dead screeners. Really enjoying The Dropout. Really not enjoying WeCrashed. Have not seen Morbius but am enjoying Morbius memes.
Alright, onto the recap:

‘Destiny 2’ Has Already Nerfed Glaives For Some Reason - Destiny hit glaives with one buff but two nerfs already, and it’s kind of a mess.
A ‘Destiny 2’ Stasis Fragment Is Twice As Good As Anyone Thought - If you are not using this Fragment, you really need to be.
What ‘Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ Can Teach ‘Borderlands 4’ - This is what I hope future Borderlands games can learn from Wonderlands.
Halo's Helmetless Master Chief Has A 'Book Of Boba Fett' Problem - I am getting a little tired of Paramount’s take on Master Chief already.
Sony Reveals PS Plus Overhaul: Tier Prices And Features - Sony revealed PS Spartacus and it is not terribly exciting.
Zero Build Feels Like The Ultimate Future Of ‘Fortnite’ - I think Fortnite is showing us its long term future plans with its Zero Build “test” this season.

We have another face-off for a Destiny armor set, and I think I know who is going to win already:
